Dr. Fatima Sahim, podiatrist, holds a Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Biology from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, earned with honors. A member of the Ordre des podiatres du Québec, she also holds radiology and ultrasound permits for the foot and ankle.
During her training, Dr. Sahim completed several internships in private clinics in Quebec City, Laval, and Gatineau, as well as at the Diabetic Foot Clinic of the Centre hospitalier de Lanaudière (CHL) in Joliette, and in foot surgery clinics in Montreal and Terrebonne. These varied experiences allowed her to develop strong competencies in biomechanics, musculoskeletal injuries, sports podiatry, podopediatrics, wound care, medical imaging, minor surgery, and more.
Known for her warm and compassionate personality, Dr. Sahim stands out for her contagious positivity and her ability to build strong, trusting relationships with her patients. Friendly, meticulous, and attentive, she places great importance on human connection and the quality of care she provides. Dr. Sahim is fluent in French and Arabic and is continuously improving her English to better serve her English-speaking patients. She left Quebec City to join the Pied Outaouais team, where she is warmly welcomed into a high-performing and compassionate clinic. Patients will benefit from the care of a podiatrist who meets the highest standards of quality and professionalism.
Passionate about podiatry, she dedicates her energy to relieving pain, restoring mobility, and helping her patients regain comfort and well-being. For her, seeing a patient walk again with a smile is the greatest reward in her practice.
