Plantar Fasciitis<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Plantar fasciitis affects the tissue located under the foot, connecting the heel to the toes. When this tissue becomes overstretched or overused, small tears can develop, leading to inflammation and pain.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Common symptoms include:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">sharp pain when getting out of bed in the morning;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">pain after sitting for a long period;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a stabbing or burning sensation in the heel.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Walking for a few minutes may temporarily reduce the discomfort.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>2. Heel Pain<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The heel is the anchor point of the Achilles tendon. The most frequent causes of heel pain include:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">overuse;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">excessive stretching;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">improper footwear.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Heel pain may also be related to plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, bursitis, Sever\u2019s disease, or Achilles tendinitis.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>3. Blisters<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Blisters occur when repeated friction causes the upper layers of skin to separate, creating a small pocket of protective fluid. While they help prevent deeper injury, they can become painful if irritated.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>4. Corns and Calluses<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Calluses are thick, hardened areas of skin caused by excessive pressure, often found under the forefoot or heel.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Corns are smaller, more focused areas of hard skin surrounded by inflammation \u2014 and they can be quite painful.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>5. Hallux Valgus (Bunions)<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hallux valgus occurs when the big toe shifts toward the second toe, creating a bony bump on the side of the foot. This can lead to pain, rubbing, and difficulty wearing certain shoes. In more advanced cases, bunions may interfere with normal walking or running.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>6. Ingrown Toenails<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Very common, ingrown toenails develop when the edge of a toenail grows into the surrounding skin. This leads to pain, redness, swelling, and sometimes infection. They occur most often on the big toe and may recur if the underlying cause is not addressed.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>7. Thick or Deformed Toenails<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thick, brittle, or yellowish toenails can be caused by:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">fungal infections;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">trauma;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">aging;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">skin conditions such as psoriasis.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The longer these issues persist, the harder they become to treat \u2014 early care is always best.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>8.
